Hello world !!!

Let me first introduce myself to you all . I am Himanshu Pandey , the creator of this wonderful blog . I am pursuing my Bachelors of engineering(B.E.) from Delhi College Of Engineering (DCE) in Computer Science field . Currently (i.e. at the time of writing this page) i am just entering into the third year of engineering . In more appropriate words you can say i am entering the most important and tough phase of engineering course . Wish me best of luck for it (I need it a lot).

I am a very technical kind of person . I love to program . It always fascinates me to solve difficult problems . I know many programming languages but my personal favourite are BASIC and Visual Basic .BASIC because it is the one responsible for introducing me to this fascinating world of programming. I feel i have the quality to grasp programming languages quickly, may be bcoz of my interest to learn something new in computers field .

Linux is my choice of preference when it comes to OS . I like to face challenges and linux is famous to give tough time to even ‘the best’ . It gives you so much flexibility and can make some of your tasks very easy . I organised “Linux Shell Programming” contest in my 2nd year under the banner of CSI-DCE .

Sports is one part of my life without which i am incomplete . My favourite game is Basketball . Chess and Badminton are other sports i am good at . I like football , pool and Table Tennis too. Basically i am quite a sporty person and play almost all games . But contrary to most other boys of INDIA i dont like Cricket much(though we grow up playing cricket as if it is the only sport in this world!!!!) .

I am a religious and patriotic person and think every one should be . Religion helps us to be calm and guides us for life .

I love to explore. Explore new technologies, explore new possibilities , explore the ways i can contribute my part to make this world a better place .
